LIC Jeevan Tarun
Build a fund for your child's education and future milestones
What is LIC Jeevan Tarun?
LIC Jeevan Tarun (Plan 734, UIN 512N299V03) is a children's plan from Life Insurance Corporation of India. It is a participating (with-profits) plan: the policy earns Simple Reversionary Bonuses that LIC declares from its surplus each year, and may add a Final Additional Bonus when the policy ends.
Premiums are paid for a shorter period than the policy runs, so the cover continues after you have finished paying. If the policyholder dies during the term, the nominee receives: Sum Assured + bonuses; premium waived for remaining term. On surviving the full term, the policyholder gets: Survival benefits at ages 20-24 + maturity at 25. Along the way: 5% of SA each year from age 20 to 24; lump sum at age 25.
It suits people looking for child education, child future and milestone planning. NRIs can buy this plan too.
