How to Check Your LIC Policy Status Online. 3 Methods

Method 1: LIC Customer Portal (licindia.in)

• •Step 1: Go to licindia.in and click 'Customer Portal' or 'e-Services'
• •Step 2: If new, click 'New User' → Register with your policy number, DOB, and mobile number
• •Step 3: You'll receive an OTP on your registered mobile. enter it
• •Step 4: Set a password and log in
• •Step 5: Dashboard shows all your policies. click any policy to see status, premium due date, bonus, loan, nominee details
• •You can also pay premiums, download receipts, and update details from here

Method 2: UMANG App (Government App)

UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) is a government app that gives access to LIC services among other things.

• •Download UMANG app from Play Store / App Store
• •Search for 'LIC' in the app
• •Enter your policy number and registered mobile number
• •View policy status, premium details, and more

Method 3: SMS

For quick status check without internet, send an SMS from your registered mobile number:

• •SMS 'ASKLIC STAT <Policy Number>' to 56767 or 56161
• •You'll receive a reply with basic policy status
• •For premium due: SMS 'ASKLIC PREM <Policy Number>' to 56767
• •Note: Your mobile number must be registered with LIC for this to work
